Moving Images was established in 1995 with the objective of producing documentary films on issues relating to conservation, the environment and development. The focus was to look at innovative and cinematic ways of communicating these stories.
Over the past 30 years Moving Images has made documentaries, training films,
audio-visuals and photography assignments for a range of organizations working in the development sector. Moving Images also makes independent films,
working on issues that are of special interest. Some of the issues we have worked on are nomadic pastoralism, livelihood and conservation, gender, the politics of water, mountaineering and wildlife conservation.
