Karan has a diploma in Digital Video production from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. His work experience ranges from interning at Rolling Films to working as Editor, Production Assistant and 1st Assistant Director, to UI/UX Designer at RideConnect LLC in Texas, United States

He designed the Android and iOS app for the early stage start-up and was responsible for conceptualising and designing the learning platform (web and Android)  and the marketing website.

He won the Best Editing award for his Non-fiction film (Rolgol) at 3rd National Students Film Awards
